I believe that growth happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. My role as a therapist is not to tell you who to be or how to live your life, but to offer a space where you can explore your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and move toward the life you want to create.
I hold a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from Sampurna Montfort College, Bangalore, and have spent the past several years working with individuals and couples across a variety of mental health settings. Alongside therapy, I have experience in supervision and teaching, both of which have deepened my appreciation for the complexity and uniqueness of human experiences.
My work is primarily grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, inspired by Carl Rogers' belief that people possess an inherent capacity for growth and healing. At the same time, I recognize that no two people are the same. I therefore draw from different therapeutic approaches when appropriate, tailoring the work to each person's needs, goals, and circumstances.
The relationship between therapist and client is central to how I practice. I strive to bring warmth, authenticity, empathy, and curiosity into every session, creating an environment where you can show up as you are, without fear of judgment. I trust my clients' ability to find their own answers, and I see my role as walking alongside them, offering support, reflection, and companionship as they navigate life's challenges and transitions.
Today, I run a private practice and also facilitate support groups and listening circles that foster connection, reflection, and community.
Outside of my work, you'll usually find me with a good fiction book, spending time with my cats, or taking long walks.
